The Inclusive Tech Alliance, launched to improve diversity within the UK tech sector, has today announced Monzo Bank as its latest member. The Inclusive Tech Alliance is a laser-focused initiative developed by agency Inclusive Boards to bring more diversity to the UK tech sector with over 30 members. Inclusive Boards’ Development Director, Elizabeth Oni-Iyiola, said:
‘Diversity is no longer a discussion about the moral case, this has been well documented and evidenced.
The discussion of diversity and inclusion should now be centered around the business case. Monzo,
along with other ITA Members are examples of organisations who understand the business case and are
actively working to drive the changes required at all levels of their organisation in the UK tech sector.
They are proudly showing a public commitment to create more diverse and inclusive organisations.’
The Inclusive Tech Alliance will be hosting a number of initiatives throughout 2020, such as #IB100 – the list of the 100 most influential Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) leaders in the UK tech sector, the ITA Awards and the ITA Women in Tech Leadership Conference which Sheree Atcheson, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Monzo Bank, will be co-hosting.
