Bio:

Lucy is director of public policy at FiveAI, a UK technology company building self-driving vehicles to deploy as passenger transport services in Europe’s cities.

Lucy’s background combines executive roles in startup technology businesses with over a decade of technology policy and regulation in government. She has held roles at the UK’s government’s Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV), the Cabinet Office, the Department for Transport, and the International Telecommunication Union, as well as several award-winning British technology startups including as part of the executive team at AI company SwiftKey.

She is a member of the City of London Transport Strategy Board, a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, a Non Executive Director at the Institute for Ethical AI and Machine Learning, and a founding board member of Ada – the National College for Digital Skills.
